Jonathan Swift, Savage Indignation

About this event
Gerry Mullins has taken poetry and letters that went between Swift and his two lady friends: Stella and Vanessa to produce a wonderful insight to the world of our 18th century genius.
The audience is greeted in the ancient hallway of Howth Castle with a choice of wine or prosecco, and some finger food. They are invited to explore some of the other reception rooms that were in the care of one family for 850 years. Then they are invited to join a short interview with Swift expert Dr Brendan Twomey, before a rude interruption by Swift himself.
Soon he is joined by his lifelong companion, Stella. But then it all goes sour when Vanessa shows up.
Readers are advised to check with the venue before relying on the details published here.
